Jeet Yet?
This section was originally intended to be a sort of food blog. Then it occurred to me that so much of my health and healing are bound up in how I feed myself and the people I care about. It even expresses the ways in which I want to try to live gently on this planet. So you're going to see this section covering a lot more than just what's for dinner.
THE OLD INTRODUCTION
We all eat. Well, most of us eat. Okay, I could make some cheap joke about models and cheerleaders. The truth is, I know a couple of each and those women eat like horses. They have to. Sometimes they spend odd ours at stupid o'clock in the morning dancing in some hat band's video or posing in clothing they would wear to a bake sale for somebody else's kid's choir trip.
This is where you'll find recipes, reviews, and some remembrances that pertain to food, foodlore, and maybe even some nods to keeping yourself healthy. One word of warning, well, actually two: I eat a plant-based diet. While I might offer some alternatives for those who still eat a SAD (Standard American Diet) most of the recipes here use non-dairy, critter-free ingredients.
